Jasper ten Cate is a former student of Stenden and is currently a member of the Stenden sounding board. Together with his brother Niels he runs Hotel ten Cate in Emmen, a colorful family hotel which they’ve taken over from their father in 2019. And it’s a place where students of Emmen regularly do internships. In this interview, which took place at the end of March 2020, Jasper and Niels speak about the impact of COVID-19 on their young entrepreneurship.
